Application Developer

Job Description:

This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Graduate School Database, which is a system of electronic workflow processes within the Graduate School, used by faculty, staff and graduate students throughout the entire Purdue system. This role will design, develop, test, implement and maintain new software applications. Experince:

• Bachelor's degree in computer technology, computer science, or a related field
• Two or more years of experience in one or more of the following: Developing and documenting technical requirements, programming, web development, and program testing
• Consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of required education and related work experience
• Experience with some or all of the following technologies: HTML, JavaScript, PL/SQL, PHP
• Knowledge of programming best practices
