Automation Engineer

Responsiblities:

• Manage the design and implementation of new assembly equipment.
• Manage and improve PLC and auxiliary software programs for all plant equipment.
• Working with our project launch team support the launch of new product lines in the plant via design reviews.
• Able to generate new CI project ideas and generate cost benefit analysis to evaluate project viability.
• Manage vendors to ensure proper install of equipment. Validate this install that comply with safety, quality and throughput standards.
• Perform root cause analysis on manufacturing defects that cause downtime, quality defects or safety concerns.
• Develop and implement permanent corrective actions on processes as indicated by the root cause analysis.
• Develop programming solutions to manufacturing issues.
