AWS Data Engineer

JD : AWS Data Engineer 

Visa Status: ALL ARE OKAY  
Location: Must Be Local To New Jersey and NYC and the General Vicinity

Contract Length: Long Term
Years Experience: 3+ Years of Experience  

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coding Proficiency:
   • Mandatory skills in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
   • Desired expertise in Unix scripting.
2. AWS Data Engineering:
   • Hands-on experience in designing and implementing data pipelines on AWS.
   • Successful completion of 2 to 3 real projects as an AWS Data Engineer.
   • Ability to work on data pipeline tasks, including data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
3. Technological Expertise:
   • Proficiency in utilizing AWS services such as S3, Glue, and Redshift/RDS for data engineering tasks.
   • Knowledge of streaming ingestion using tools like Kafka/Kinesis or Spark Streaming is desired.
4. Certifications:
   • AWS Solution Architect Associate or Developer Associate certification is mandatory.
   • AWS Data Analytics Certification is desired.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an AWS Data Engineer with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
