Job Responsibilities 1. Integrate the various tools in the DevOps toolchain and SDLC process to accelerate development and infrastructure team velocity while maintaining high standards for quality and consistency. 2. Manage and support the DevOps tools utilized by the development and infrastructure teams and ensure they are scalable and failure proof. 3. Support and improve DevOps tools for continuous build, automated testing and release management process. 4. Engineer, manage, and support Jenkins environments for automated build, test and deployment. 5. Design and implement build jobs in tools such as ANT, Gradle, and Maven. 6. Leverage configuration management tools such as Chef to implement automation of system configurations and software deployment for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. 7. Implement automation and scripting with multiple operating systems environments: Microsoft Windows and Linux. 8. Expertise in Cloud Delivery Services to support Development operations 9. Leverage REST/API services to integrate tools within the DevOps toolchain by implementing service integrations between the systems. 10. Implement, maintain, and support the monitoring infrastructure to facilitate continuous monitoring of all environments. 11. Monitor and test system performance for potential bottlenecks within the DevOps ecosystem. 12. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation for DevOps processes, knowledge base, user guides, and technical docs. Qualifications 1. Overall 7+ years’ experience 2. Well versed with AWS cloud platform. Good to have AWS certified engineers 3. Strong knowledge and understanding of Terraform scripts. Should have experience in building infrastructure on AWS using Terraform scripts 4. Strong experience of 3+ years with Docker and Docker management technologies like Kubernetes. 5. 3+ experience of in administering and performing DevOps activities on AWS platform. 6. 3+ years’ experience working in performing CI/CD operations for J2EE, Microservices based applications 7. 3+ years’ experience in CI/CD using Jenkins 8. Hands on Experience in Linux and Windows 9. Strong understanding of code and scripts 10. Experience performing DevOps activities for a Point-of-Sale applications. 11. An idea of different post-production health monitoring solutions and how it fits into the DevOps scope (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK etc)
