Job Description
6+ month engagement. Will initially be mostly work from home, but some trips into the Dallas office are expected in the near future, and will likely be 3-4 days onsite by early next year.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of SQL Development experience
- 5+ years of ETL development experience (SSIS or similar)
- Strong Data Modeling experience
- Proficient with Source control tools
- Ability to be highly producting working remotely with little oversight
- Proficient working in an Agile environment
Preferred Skills:
- Strong T-SQL including Unit testing experience
- Alteryx, Tableau, or similar
- BIML experience
- C# or Web API experience related to building SSIS solutions
- OLAP or Tabular Data Models
- Service Broker or other message queue experience specifically building SSIS solutions around them
Responsibilities:
Azure Data development for Data Hub and Data warehouse environments.The tasks performed include working on new development, bugs, enhancements, troubleshooting activities, configuring environments, suggesting process improvements, and completing documentation.
Provide development using Azure Synapse, Data Factory, AzureSQL tables as well as T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and SQL Server and associated skillsets. Will also likely use Source Control tools, C#, Alteryx/Tableau experience on an as needed basis.
Design, write code, debug, perform system and applications testing, and support the operations team with builds to QA and production release in the Data Hub and Data warehouse environments.
Unit test functionality developed, check against business requirements and adhere to guidelines and best practices.
