Backend Developer

Job Description:

• Develop innovative tools to aid the production and distribution of video and interactive storytelling.
• Have a significant voice in the direction of MediaStorm’s products.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to establish project goals and timelines.
• Be responsible for unit and integration testing of products.
• Assist with DevOps and management of cloud infrastructure.
• Generate and maintain detailed documentation.
• Remain up to date with new development trends and technologies, and contribute to company-wide technology decisions.

Qualifications:

• At least five years of professional development experience.
• Experience with Django, Ruby on Rails, or similar web application frameworks.
• Willingness to learn new languages or technologies as necessary.
• Experience managing infrastructure in cloud computing environments such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
• Solid understanding of web application security.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs.
• Experience with Continuous Integration strategies and tools.
• Ability to collaborate with a diverse team.
• Ability to self-manage and meet aggressive deadlines.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Skills:

• Backend Programming Languages Java, Python, PHP.
• Knowledge of Popular Frameworks. 
• Data Structures and Algorithms. 
• HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
