Business Data Analyst

Summary:

Identifies opportunities for improvement, organizes and manages functionality of proprietary data visualization software at customer sites including ad-hoc reporting, server management, troubleshooting and instructional classes. Supports customers in the data analysis process with data acquisition, preparation, and presentation

Provides subject matter expertise regarding the maintenance and functionality of proprietary data visualization software at customer sites including ad-hoc reporting, server management, troubleshooting and instructional classes.

Supports customers in the data analysis process with data acquisition, preparation, and presentation.

Maintains data server at customer sites by performing maintenance and upgrade procedures on remote servers. Specifies the hardware and software required to install and use the software at customer sites.

Creates process procedures and instructional manuals for implementing and use of software at customer sites.

Researches new ways to visualize data and reporting capabilities and presents them to customers. May customize customer use of database systems by writing custom code.

Education/Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 1 to 2 years of Data Analyst experience.
• ReportIQ (Tableau), PostgreSQL, Python, FIS
• Fiber Operations is a plus
