Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for a resilient, empathic business development manager to contribute to the growth of Kyndryl within Mainframe area for Strategic Markets. Business development managers are responsible for finding and retaining clients, are the front of the company and have dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. Looking into the current strategy and market requirements, the focus will be on developing the growth in hybrid business models. Familiarizing yourself with all products and services offered by Kyndryl within Mainframe area Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs Arrange business meetings with prospective clients Promote the companys products/services addressing or predicting clients objectives Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople Collaborating with the Finance Team to analyse and report to the Executives on profit levels and potential return on investment of bid proposals
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Extensive Sales experience with proven sales track record Project management experience Demonstrable financial acumen, with an understanding of budgeting processes and financial reporting Knowledge of commercial practice and industry standards Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services Great networking skills Excellent written and verbal communication in English Negotiation skills Resourceful, with outstanding research skills Solid knowledge of z-platform and z/OS technologies in terms of hardware and operating system Knowledge of hybrid-cloud platforms like Azure & AWS Knowledge of GDPR regulations
