Job Title: CAD Engineer/Intern

Job Description:

• As a CAD Engineer (Intern), the main responsibility is to create drawing into the new manufacturing specification system.
• The engineer will provide support to the engineering department in defining new parts, tolerances, and the finished goods products.
• The engineer will maintain the manufacturing system up-to-date according to the production department input and create new parts by reverse engineering of physical samples using AutoCAD.

Education

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree with an expected graduation date by May 2023 or recently graduated with BS in Mechanical Engineering degree

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in using AutoCAD
• Preferably related engineering internship or co-op work experience as a CAD Engineer

Knowledge/Skills

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Proficiency in MS Office application
• Familiarity with relational database concepts and [MS SQLServer]
• Proficiency in taking dimensional measurements and defining tolerances [ASME Y14.5]
• Good written and verbal communication skills
