CAD Technician

Title: CAD Technician II
100% at ZV building, Painted Post, NY
9 Months Contract
Interview Process: Phone screen, then onsite interview which will include an hour-long SolidWorks assessment

Manager is open to entry level engineers. 
Minimum of 2-3 years CAD Tech experience. 
Must be proficient with AutoCad and SolidWorks. 
Minimum of 2 year technical degree. No masters or PhD's for this role. 
Manager is open to candidates outside the local area, but not out of state (except PA).

Hours of work/work schedule:
Monday-Friday 40 hours with overtime as required.

Required Skills (MUSTS):
Familiarity with Solidworks and AutoCAD
Ability to work in a team-based environment and to contribute to a highly matrixed project team.
Understands and values working in a diverse environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities through sound planning and organizing.
Ability to select standard mechanical parts from a vendor catalog or by contacting the vendor.

Education and Experience (minimum required for consideration):
Minimum of a 2 year technical degree (Mechanical technology, CAD, etc.)
Minimum 2-3 years of experience
