Computer Network Architect, Junior

ROLES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:Design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN),intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks. Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning, including analysis of capacity needs for network infrastructures. May also design network and computer security measures. May research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:To be considered for this position, you must meet the education and experience listed below:

• AA/AS degree and less than three (3) years related experience -OR- HS/GED and two (2) years of experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

• Experience performing the roles/responsibilities listed above.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• US Citizenship is required due to US government contract requirement.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance (interim required to start) or a Non-NISP investigation for local access.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Candidates with experience or knowledge in these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

• Incumbent experience within the Business Operations/Front Office, Customer Relationship Management, and/or Horizontal Integration areas of NAWCAD DNA.
• Active SECRET clearance.
