Job Description :

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Interfaces with business and IT colleagues to clarify requirements and support the delivery of databases and data solutions.

• Under guidance and by applying approved tool set, determines the best ways to organize and store data.

• Configures, installs, and tests and maintains databases and their associated software such as version upgrades, patches, and tools.

• Monitors and manages database performance.

• Researches and troubleshoots database errors, indexing, or other problems.

• Under the guidance of DBA 2 and/or DBA 3, performance tunes databases and related servers.

• Performs database backups on a regularly scheduled basis, and database recovery when required.

• Implements data security measures under guidance and by applying approved procedures.

• Writes documentation that describes installation and operating procedures and design of their work product.

• Assists in the research of emerging database technologies.

• Monitors, tracks and reports on unauthorized systems access.

• Provides first level troubleshooting, technical, and operational support under guidance.

• Participates in on-call rotations as needed.

• Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
