Data Analyst

Duties & Accountabilities:

• Review dividend announcements and have a complete understanding of corporate actions to validate and publish accurate timely updates to clients.
• Utilize various research sources (e.g., information circulars, EDI, Factset) including Internet search engines and websites to successfully validate the corporate actions.
• Build relationships with clients, providing clear answers to questions and detailed insights to help them make advantageous trading and investing decisions.
• Work with our product specialists and technical team on initiatives to enhance the product.
• Contribute to projects to help improve our operational efficiency and estimate quality.

Education and Experience:

• A Graduate, PG degree or CFA Candidate
• 0-2 years experience with an understanding of equity market operations Financial subjects at undergraduate or graduate level preferred
• Knowledge of Corporate Actions is preferred
• Knowledge of Excel, Python, SQL, and VBA will be an added advantage Commercial awareness
• Keen interest in financial news, market events, and their implications
• Knowledge of financial statement analysis
• Strong Inclination to make a career in data analytics
• Commercial awareness-Must have a strong interest in finance and be up to date with current global financial market news.
