Data Analyst

Responsibilities The Enterprise Technology, Claims Knowledge Graph Team provides a graph technology based distributed web application. This tool helps our claims business partners in investigating potential frauds by showing connections between different entities of a claim. Candidates should be high performers, able to work on multiple conflicting priorities with a strong desire to learn and grow.

• Conducting interviews with Claims analytic customers to understand their data needs for Graph use cases.
• Working across multiple teams in the Enterprise Technology department to research current processes, reports and dashboards providing claims data to our customers.
• Designing Ontology/ERD diagrams on how Claims data is connected to show relationships and patterns.
• Working with the teams Software Engineers in developing queries in Cypher and SQL for qualifying claims.
• Helping in product's new feature development by implementing queries in application code.
• Following successful implementation, work with consumers to understand any unique data strategies that could be expanded as a best practice in other areas.

Qualifications Competitive candidates will bring proficiency in the following required skills:

• Intermediate to Advanced in SQL
• Familiarity with existing Claims reporting metrics, dashboards, etc.
• Database knowledge
• Data Visualization skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical thinking
• ETL experience
• TDD - Test Driven Development experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with team members of diverse technical/business backgrounds
• Desire to learn new languages and frameworks
• Ability to find and apply industry-standard solutions to problems
• Able to work in a high paced environment
• Able to navigate and manage an assigned workload from end to end
