Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Ensure data reliability by identifying anomalies, helping to resolve issues, helping to set data standards
• Rely on analytical, organizational, and investigative skills in order to take on data mining projects.
• Review and clean large datasets to identify and rectify inconsistencies, inaccuracies, and duplicates.
• Gathering data from primary or secondary data sources to identify, interpret trends, and patterns in complex data sets
• Review data from multiple applications and perform root cause analysis on data issues and recommend data quality controls to resolve gaps/issues.
• Collaborate with IT and other teams to ensure that data is properly integrated thru the various systems.
• Develop complex data quality audits using SQL to identify possible data issues.
• Generate reports and provide insights on data quality, progress, and issues to management.

Requirment:

• ETL and data modeling knowledge is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
• Ability to work in decentralized team and communicate using virtual communications tools.
• Self-starter that does not need to wait for instructions; takes actions to achieve goals; proactive.
• Experience in facilitation skills, verbal, written, and visual communications.
