Data Scientist

Responsiblties:

• Apply new data mining and analysis techniques including data discovery, data preparation, modeling, and visualization through repeatable methods.
• Create the data architecture with analysis based on sound data and knowledge of information systems and design.
• Identify requirements for substantial research efforts and provides timely, authoritative, and sound advice on their implementation.
• Provide management with expert technical guidance and recommendations for achieving the organization’s objectives.

Requirements:

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
• In accordance with Change 3 of AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, must successfully pass a urinalysis for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a Single Scope Background Investigation with eligibility for access to sensitive compartmented information.
