Data Warehouse Developer

Responsibilities:

• Developing and managing business intelligence solutions for the organization.
• Developing and maintaining dashboards, generating reports, preparing data visualizations, and using data to forecast or guide business activity.
• Develop Power Automate and Power Apps workflows and integrations to automate business processes and improve data quality.
• Design, develop, and maintain complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, packages, and other database objects to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse or data mart.
• Communicate internally and with clients externally to collect and validate data as well as answer questions regarding reports and data.
• Act as a subject matter expert on the Power BI application and act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues.
• Apply advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principals, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects.
• Recommends new practices, processes and procedures.
• Provides solutions that may set precedent or have significant impact.
• Build automation and additional efficiencies into manual reporting efforts.

 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, equivalent years’ experience considered.
• At least five to seven years of data related or analytical work experience.
• Experience building BI solutions in the Azure ecosystem.
• Advanced Power Automate & Power Apps experience is must.
• MS Azure skills preferred including intermediate skills in Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Power BI or equivalent.
• Ability to grasp database structures and understand the underlying relationships and dependencies. 

Key Skills:

• SQL.
• Experience in database design and modeling.
• Data warehouse and business intelligence applications.
• Including relational database structures and normal forms.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills with complex technical subjects and tasks.
