Roles & Responsibilities:

Strong Experience on Discovery and Assessment of on-premises database servers. Strong Experience on migrating on-premises databases using various methods like lift and shift, restoring data from backup set, import & export and using Azure Data Migration Assistant (DMA) tool. Strong experience in Azure Site Recovery Strong experience in Azure Migrate Experience in Microsoft MAP Toolkit Strong Experience on assessing on-premises workloads to move to appropriate service tier. Experience on configuration of scaling up and down the pricing tier in databases and other PaaS components as per the requirement. Experience on configuring database roles, firewall rules and Security management to provide the security to PAAS databases. Experience on creating data retention backup policy for Azure databases. Experience on database backups and restore activities. Experience of Azure Cloud Architecture Experience in Azure Blueprints, Azure Policies, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform and Operating Models. Experience on Server & database capacity planning analyze and gathering information for building new servers and databases. Experience on High Availability and Disaster Recovery for Azure SQL Database & Servers. Experience of Azure Operational and Monitoring tools. Understanding of Database technology, both Structured and Un-Structured Experience of Azure Cost monitoring and optimizations. Experienced in the design and delivery of enterprise level Highly Available solutions. In-depth understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products such as Azure AD, ADFS, Azure AD Connect, Conditional Access, Azure AD Proxy and Active Directory Domain Services. Security Experience in Microsoft Azure and 3rd party tools such as Checkpoint, FortiGate, Cisco ASA, Azure NSG, Azure WAF and Azure Security Centre. Experience of working in highly dynamic teams using agile methodologies under demanding timescales. Experience of collaborating and knowledge transfer to mixed customer and supplier teams whilst delivering to agreed timelines would be highly beneficial.
