Devops Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the team a with positive, supportive, and collaborative attitude.
• Own the CI/CD pipelines and provide rapid and reliable paths through the software development lifecycle.
• Construct infrastructure enabling scalable and secure running of code in cloud environments.
• Program tools and build pipelines for easy software development starting on the developer machine and going all the way through production-deployment.
• Integrate software and services for observability and reliability.
• Detect, diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize customer impact.
• Recommend and implement best practices, processes, and tools to ensure systematic delivery of great outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Expertise with building distributed systems and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Expertise crafting CI/CD pipelines and associated best practices.
• Expertise with AWS and cloud services.
• Demonstrated history of engineering collaboration and delivery.
• Track record of balancing the fast-paced daily priorities with important, longer-term strategic efforts.
• Programming experience with Python, Java, JavaScript, Bash or Golang.
• 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar.
• Experience supporting a financial system at enterprise scale.
