Devops Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Proactively monitoring and responding to Application Performance metrics.
• Creating, maintaining, monitoring, and securing Azure resources adhering to modern conventions, standards, and best practices leveraging Infrastructure as Code.
• Collaborate with developers to assist troubleshooting applications and deployments.
• Perform and assist developers with Root Cause Analysis for incidents involving IT systems.
• Maintaining, improving, and troubleshooting internal Platform Engineering systems, workflows, and toolchains.
• Rotating on-call schedule for Production outage of IT systems under DevOps team purview.

 Experience:

• Strong proponent of, and adherent to, modern processes and procedures: Agile, ITIL, DevSecOps
• Infrastructure as Code using ARM, BICEP templates and scripts
• Experience with implementing monitoring and site reliability engineering.
• Self-starter, self-motivated, adept at working within a team as well as solo
• Proficient with Powershell, HTML, JavaScript, JSON.
• Basic familiarity with SQL databases, SQL Server specifically.
• Experience with container technologies a plus.
