Job Title: DevOps Leads/Architect

Location: Anywhere in NJ and Anywhere near DC

 

ONLY GC and Citizen

 

Job Description:

• Six or more years of total experience as a system administrator on Linux platform
• 4 or more years of experience with leading dev and ops teams in the implementation of Agile and DevSecOps practices
• Expert level system administration skills in the areas of, but not limited to, networking, storage management, software installation, OS tuning (Linux & Windows)
• Expert hands-on knowledge of at least one Public Cloud
• Hands on experience with OS hardening, container security, firewall configuration will be a big plus
• Experience on one of more version control software such as Git, VSTS and good understanding on branching strategies
• Good understanding of static code analysis, dependency scanning, container security and dynamic security test automation using any leading tools
• CI experience in one or more CI tools such as Jenkins, Travis, VSTS etc.
• Expert level skills in installing and automating CI/CD tools such as Maven/Gradle, Git/Gitlab, Jenkins, Puppet/Chef, Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Infrastructure as code scripting – Terraform, Ansible or equivalent
• Experience with managing releases
• Scripting experience in multiple languages - (Powershell, Python, etc.
• Basic understanding of modern architectures and software development practices, including microservices, API Gateways, Event streaming, No-SQL Databases, Distributed Applications

Responsibilities:

• As a Platform Engineer you will be responsible for creating and maintaining various platforms as service.
• You will create and maintain various development, IaaC and Data CI/CD pipelines.
• You possess a 'can do' attitude and are able to quickly learn/evaluate any new technology.
