Skills Required:

  • Strong experience in business, technology and market research with an analytical bent of mind: - Ability to identify and analyze emerging tech trends and provide concrete implications and actionable insights of these trends for Mercedes-Benz
  • Ability to draw parallels from cross-industry innovation to be able to identify relevant strategic innovations for automotive
  • Experience in software product management or knowledge of software architecture from connected car perspective would be a strong plus
  • Capability to understand and go deep in diverse/complex/emerging technological areas relevant to automotive domains: this may require understanding and assessing cross-functional topics in areas of software and electrical engineering from a connected, electric vehicle perspective
  • Business Acumen, Research and Strategic Mindset- Understanding business strategy, market sizing and business model, Market Intelligence
  • Patent research, landscaping and whitespace analysis
  • Quick learner with passion for learning, and tracking technological progress in automotive industry
  • Excellent communication, inter-personal and networking skills
