Engineer Software IT Sr

JOB DESCRIPTION 1-5 years of applied Data Science experience developing and deploying Machine Learning algorithms into production environments. Experience working with large complex datasets across multiple business disciplines: finance, marketing, sales. Effectively collaborate across business and technology teams both orally and written. Comfortable presenting to senior leadership. Exceptional problem solving, technical and data analysis skills.

Statistics & Machine Learning:

Applied knowledge of machine learning techniques and model selection process. Demonstrated experiencing communicating complex methods and concepts. Rigorous understanding of machine learning model input requirements, training/testing methodologies and optimization algorithms. Experience with model tuning and feature selection methodologies.

Programming:

Proficient with scientific programming languages specifically: Python required. Experience developing models in a Cloud Environments: Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Platform preferred. Excellent SQL skills including understanding of data manipulation, transformation and data table creation. Experience with visualization methodologies and tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Development

Deployment of production data science pipelines to scale and automate machine learning applications. Develop and document machine learning architecture from data requirements to API deployment.

Team

Collaborate with teams to refine strategy and define requirements for minimum viable product. Ability to work independently or with teams across a diverse set of disciplines and skills. Translate business problems into technical solutions.
