Job Description :We re looking for someone with the experience, vision and passion to continue to build a world-class Recruiting function. In this role, you will lead the Product, Design and Engineering Recruiting Teams while working with business leaders, hiring managers, recruiting colleagues and resources as needed. This position reports to the SVP of People and can be based in Seattle or San Francisco. Redfin needs a talent leader to take our current technology recruiting shop to the next level. The Role Build talent strategies and keep things moving: to bring on dozens of people at scale. You understand the business of recruiting, from budgets to target setting, and can mold it to our needs. Inspire and develop the team: we have an amazing team in place that has the potential to grow and scale. We need you to come and lead them to greatness. Rap with hiring managers: you have to build rapport with hiring managers and executives so you know what they want and they trust your judgment. Because of your skills, subject matter expertise, and abilities to set direction, you will become a trusted adviser for the company when it comes to attracting and hiring the best of the best tech talent. Dust off your recruiter hat: some people want to build programs and manage others without ever picking up the phone themselves. That isn t you. When needed, you can step in and make magic happen. Whether it s closing an executive hire or helping negotiate a tough closing, you'll roll up your sleeves to get the job done. Identify and initiate needed projects: You take a look at the way we do things and make suggestions for improvements around processes to enhance the candidate experience plus make our daily lives easier. What You Bring To The Table Strategic: you have a vision and can communicate it clearly. Creative: status quo doesn t work nor should it. You think outside the box and you re not afraid to take thoughtful risks. Analytical: numbers are your friends. You can t live without data. Your analysis informs how to improve results and where to spend a little more of your time and attention. Programmatic: you know how to build talent generation programs at scale. You ve led teams and set direction for company recruitment efforts all the while compiling some serious competitive intelligence. Leadership is your thing. Pipelines and process are your friends. Skills & Experience 5+ years leading high performance Technical recruiting teams in multiple locations 10+ years handling the end-to-end recruitment life cycle Experience: built and led tech recruiting teams in high growth environments; you can point to a history of results & excellent performance. Inspirational: you know how to guide and inspire teams and managers to storm the hill.
