ETL Developer

Responsibilities:

• Translate data movement requirements into technical ETL design.
• Develop ETL workflows and mappings to extract, transform, and load data into target environments.
• Develop test plans and perform unit testing of own work.
• Create supporting documentation for new ETL processes.
• Identify opportunities for improving efficiency and effectiveness of processes and controls.
• Use standard ETL toolsets to develop and test ETL workflows.
• Determine impacts of data warehouse structures and information flows due to changes in business or technical requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to the remediation planning and implementation.
• Perform data quality analysis, report data quality issues, and propose solutions for data quality management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 3 years of Information Technology experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience using ETL software or equivalent data integration processes.
• 3 years of experience working with relational databases and dimensional data warehouse implementations.
• 3 years of complex SQL query development experience, preferably on multiple database management platforms.
• 3 years of experience translating business and data requirements into technical solutions.
• Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data structures, and ETL best practices concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and delivery results in a timely manner.

Key Skills:

• SQL competence.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Knowledge of at least one ETL tool Informatica, SSIS, Talend, etc.
• Knowledge of different SQL/NoSQL data storage techniques and Big Data technologies.
