Financial Analyst

Description:

1. Uphold DDW’s Mission Statement, Quality Policy, and Values and Beliefs. 2. Assist Global Controller with month-end closing process, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statements. 3. Assist with communication of financial results. 4. Review general ledger and bank transactions to ensure accuracy and make adjustments as necessary. 5. Calculate and analyze capital expenditure spending and base working capital metrics. 6. Manage capital expenditures and depreciation entries. 7. Maintain foreign exchange rates.

Develop facility for working in multi-currency environment.

1. Assist in the Mid-Year and Full-Year Budget processes. 2. Support the annual audit and tax return processes by preparing schedules and reports. 3. Conduct internal control testing per the internal control program. Support risk management initiatives. 4. Develop comprehensive knowledge of ERP software and eventually serve as system “super user”. 5. Prepare and update process documentation for various Finance processes and responsibilities. 6. Work closely with Information Technology (IT) department to troubleshoot financial system entries. 7. Assist in the design and testing of internal productivity tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management; 5-7 years accounting experience; CPA preferred
