Front End Developer

Responsiblties:

• Utilize problem solving skills to implement, review and optimize code developed in house and third parties.
• Create web-based marketing material for internal and external OverDrive, corporate websites, marketing microsites, and other sales/marketing websites.
• Work with IT/QA to develop, test and deploy finished products.
• Own projects from inception to launch.

 Qualifications:

• Creative skills: with the ability to develop intuitive and attractive websites with minimal or no customer input.
• Strong design technical computer knowledge / understanding of Responsive Design.
• Good color theory, color matching and composition skills.
• Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Creative, organized, open to input and suggestions.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information effectively.
• Knowledge and ability to create and maintain systems using language appropriate for target or equivalent technologies.
• Familiarity with Git or other source control systems, React, and Typescript.
