Front End Engineer

 Responsibilities:

• Develop templates using ReactJS for new features and layouts that are reusable.
• Able to build custom JavaScript components/modules that can be reused by other developers
• Develops and maintains web-based components and applications to generate sales and profit from web activity as well as drive traffic to Mattress Firm's brick and mortar locations.
• Follows web development best practices, processes and procedures.
• Participating in Agile Team ceremonies; daily standup, pointing, planning, review, and retrospectives.
• Self-Managing team member that will hold themselves and each other accountable for each sprint of committed work.
• Collaborates and communicates with a diverse set of people across groups and organizational levels.
• Unit tests code, writes automation scripts, peer code reviews, merge and maintains code repository.
• Contribute to site optimization for SEO, cleaner and concise code, and code weight.
• Work collaboratively with different development teams.
• Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date.
• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all.
