Job Description :

Full Stack Java developer Location  :  Pittsburgh, PA Duration : Contract

  • Spearhead the design and development of a robust, extensible middle tier services layer that serves as the backbone for various missing critical front – end application
  • Design and develop an extensible framework and middle tiers service and components that could be reused by future strategic initiatives with PB and across the larger organization
  • Become part of a strong team to develop a next gen mobile application and future develop on the internal / external client portal
  • Contribute in the architecture and design decisions for application development
  • Follow consistent practice in coding and unit testing, adhere to established code reviews, standards and practices
  • Work collaboratively with distributed teams with a global footprint
  • Identify issues and risks and proactively bring it to the tech lead for resolution
  • Communicate efficiently within and outside the team
  • Strong organizational skills and efficient time management

 

Qualifications & Technical Skills

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
  • Java 8 or greater – must be proficient in the language, core libraries & design patterns
  • 8+ years of experience inJava/J2EEtechnologies
  • Strong microservices architecture knowledge and best practices
  • Must have Experience and good understanding of Frameworks like Spring /Hibernate
  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
  • Strong concept knowledge inWeb Services,REST APIs, OAuth, IAM
  • Prior experience with building mobile apps a big plus preferably using Flutter framework
  • Experience with version control practices preferably using GIT, Jira
  • Working in an Agile development environment
  • Engaging in application architecture and design decisions.
  • Implementing/maintaininga repeatable iterative software development methodology.
  • Improve the code quality with effective testing and review process
  • Design and develop scalable technical implementations
  • Apigee a plus, Angular Version 5+
  • Full stack development experience
