GCP Infrastructure Network SME

• This position is for a Cloud SME to serve as an extension of the Cloud COE within the Cloud Ops team, specializing in a targeted cloud environment (AWS, Azure or GCP). 
• Cloud SMEs possess a deep mastery of their targeted cloud and are experts for their platform. 
• Cloud SMEs direct their targeted cloud teams to resolve the most complex problems, define remediation plans, and direct putting in place the needed process steps/automation to avoid the same problems in the future. 
• Cloud SMEs support system development and administration as part of continuous deployment, continuous integration, and infrastructure automation.  
• Cloud SMEs work in partnership with our Cloud COE to define best practices and standards for their primary cloud platform. 
• Cloud Platform Managers ensure the optimization of their target cloud platform (GCP in this case) and identify new capabilities and services that will benefit the enterprise. 

Required Skills & Experience:

• Services - GCP Infrastructure, Networking IAM
• Terraform
• Consulting skills, able to lead customer interactions and assist in scoping projects
• GCE, GCS, Networking

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Security
• GitOps CI/CD - Jenkins/Spinnaker etc
• F5 – Networking
• GCP Cloud Architect certification
