Job Description :
  • Must have at least 8 years experience administering / maintaining the Linux (SUSE and Redhat) operating system and its associated software
  • Must have at least 5 years experience administering / maintaining the Solaris operating system and its associated software
  • Must have excellent problem determination skill and experience in successfully searching vendor knowledge bases, opening vendor support requests, and generating diagnostic reports
  • Must be able to identify, analyze, and resolve problems. Support problem and change tickets for client servers, including implementing changes to hardware and/or software. Interact with other teams as required to solve issues.
  • Must have an understanding of Ansible and Open Shift
  • Must be familiar with SAN storage and multipathing, Linux OS tuning, and handling of common configuration files
  • Must have an understanding of authentication and authorization technologies such as LDAP and Kerberos
  • Must be able to engage in problem solving to create a continuous improvement culture.
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a demanding environment.
  • Must have fluent English speaking skills to interface with PMs and customer  
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with other teams, account team, PMs, peers and customer
  • Must be located in the Austin, TX area since they will be onsite with the customer
  • Prefer someone with a basic knowledge of Agile methodologies
