As an IT Field Service Technician – Linux Support, you’ll be responsible to support engineering teams within Linux environment (workstation and server).

Responsibilities

• RedHat Enterprise Linux on workstations and servers, including building, kickstarting and troubleshooting, using cli
• Creating, managing and using Linux kickstart scripts
• Ansible
• Scripting (Bash etc)
• Working in a heavy NFS environment
• Creating and management in VMware (vSphere and Player)
• NoMachine support and configuration (server and workstations)
• Managing users in OpenText ETX
• Networking including basic network patching
• Understanding and working with Netapp Filers
• Remote troubleshooting
• System life cycle
• Face to face customer support
• Account creation procedures unique to this group
• Working in a compartmentalized IT environment
