Job Description:

  • Providing leadership and accountability for IT acquisition, contracts and performance management, governance, and oversight processes across the Civil Division.
  • Improving interoperability, consolidating IT services, and migrating systems to the cloud, as cost-effective and appropriate.
  • Managing the OIT budget and overseeing and advising on IT spending throughout the Division to ensure consistency with overall strategic objectives, mission and program needs, and Division priorities.
  • Monitoring all component IT investment performance through regular reviews and engagement with the program sponsor and stakeholders, identifying underperforming major IT investments, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensuring the development, maintenance and implementation of a sound and integrated information technology architecture designed to improve the productivity of the Division's programs and promote a coordinated, interoperable, secure infrastructure.
  • Coordinating with the DOJ CIO, in alignment with the Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act (FITARA), in developing and implementing strategies for enterprise data and information.
