Java Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy backend technology to create secure, scalable, and highly reliable configurations.
• Build responsive and interactive data-driven experiences.
• Provide API/SDK support to end users, facilitating seamless integration with ArcGIS SDK.
• Support GIS application development, troubleshooting mapping and application creation tools, and addressing issues in low/no-code applications.
• Troubleshoot external service access restrictions and implement effective solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8 years’ of proven experience in backend development with expertise in Amazon and Azure cloud services.
• Strong proficiency in Java EE and RESTful web services.
• Familiarity with new and upcoming middleware and server-side technologies.
• Experience in supporting API/SDK integration efforts, particularly with ArcGIS SDK.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including Python, Java, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
