Java Developer

In this role, a typical day will include:

1. Researches, designs, develops, tests, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software 2. Analyzes user/business software system requirements and determines needs. Determine the functionality of an application and performs upgrades over time 3. Maintains documentation to support software development policies, standards, and procedures 4. Performs and may provide guidance on all phases of the software development lifecycle 5. Analyze user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needs 6. May provide guidance for less-experienced software developers in creating a variety of models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an application 7. Performs and provides guidance on software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needs 8. Provides relevant analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status 9. Thoroughly documents the software or system process for future maintenance and updates 10. May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced professionals

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

1. BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems 2. 5+ years of experience in a professional capacity 3. Software Development Experience, Preferably Java, Frontend tech Stack using Eclipse, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript 4. Experience with GitHub, Maven and EBS 5. Experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks 6. Experience on multiple Agile engagements with Agile/Scrum processes and management tools (preferably VersionOne) to enhance project efficiency and quality 7. Strong facilitation skills to assist with discovery workshops and collaborate closely with the Scrum Master, Technical Team Lead, Solutions Architect, and the rest of the development team. 8. Effective in internal knowledge sharing, coaching, and collaboration activities and initiatives. liaison between business and technical teams

DESIRED:

1. A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is preferred 2. Experience in the following: (CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Java, Unix, Tom Cat)
