Java Developer

  Role and Responsibilities:

• The Java Developer will develop & support solutions staying abreast of the latest advances Design, develop, and enhance Web based API and middleware applications satisfying client requests and requirements delivering quality change.
• Define API layers and workflow engines for the provisioning of commercial services.
• Works closely with teammates to determine if proposed designs are feasible and cover all subsystems within the commercial managed service ecosystem - BSS.
• Participate in design walkthroughs and provide feedback to ensure our technical quality remains along with recommending solutions to design and program issues.
• Perform root cause analysis after resolving bugs, escalations, and technical issues then coordinate proactive preventative resolutions.  

 Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in CS/EE or equivalent 6-8 years’ experience as a Java Developer and top Java coding proficiency
• Experience as an API Developer or API Support role with an understanding of full stack architecture
• A good understanding of OSS/BSS layers in Commercial based MSOs/Telecoms.
• Familiarity with application containers – Tomcat, Spring Web UI coding experience – JSP, AJAX, JavaScript DB integration experience – Oracle SQL, Hibernate, myBatis
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to communicate highly complex concepts to Leaders and Executives across multiple organizations.
• Excellent troubleshooting capabilities.
• Team player that can set the technical direction and delegate workloads for the long-term orchestration vision.
