Java Developer

Job Description:

Looking for Java developers to join a business facing team working on a suite of micro services which provide a wide range of functions for IB Treasury. Do you like to engineer large scale mission critical solutions that are Always On? Do you like to contribute where cutting edge software development, global scale system architecture, Data and enterprise systems and tools intersect? Are you curious about how things break, so that you can eliminate these failure modes? Are you driven to eliminate toil by designing/adopting better tools and automation techniques? If so, we would love to have you in our IB Treasury Software Engineering team.

You'll be able to think outside the box and learn new skills in response to rapid changes and business needs. You'll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals.

Responsibilities

Strong proficiency with JavaScript, Node JS, Next JS, React JS

• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in and understanding of service-oriented architecture
• A deep understanding of software development in a team, and a track record of shipping software on time
