Java Developer

We are having multiple opening. Role-JAVA SRE Experience: Overall 5-7 yrs. In Java Ecosystem 2-4 yrs. JD: 1. Should have hands on coding experience in Java. Basic coding experience and logical understanding is sufficient. 2. Should understand Java Ecosystem like the workflows, services, APIs etc. 3. Should have idea on Telemetry or KPI Monitoring aspects of Application, Infra & cloud stack like,                 a. Performance Monitoring - like speed, processing time, transaction requests, basic SLAs, Uptimes, downtimes                 b. Database Access and processing like number of open connections to Database which can affect performance                 c. Utilization of resources like Infra usage monitoring, User access monitoring (how many concurrent users are connecting to the application server)                 d. Cloud connections and cloud resource utilization                 e. User experience and UI aspects of the Application and related KPIs 4. Should be able to debug application related failures due to any of this - Coding Error, Infrastructure or Cloud specific issues 5. In case the failure is related to coding error then should be able to brows through the code-base for that function and find out / debug errors (Java coding knowledge is required for this) and follow the code promotion / release cycle to implement that. 6. It is more of SRE role only but with lesser emphasis on coding and technical issues and more emphasis on the operational and monitoring (telemetry) perspective.

Skills Required

• Knowledge of functional programming and object-oriented programming paradigms
• Highly proficient with the JavaScript language and modern ES6 syntax and features
• Ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean JavaScript code
• Experience utilizing continuous integration and deployment tools (i.e. Jenkins)
• Proficiency with modern development tools, like Babel, Webpack, and Git
• Highly proficient with Vue.js or ReactJS framework and its core principles such as components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM
• Familiarity with the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router (or similar ReactJS equivalents) 
• Experience with back-end JavaScript technologies/frameworks, including Node.js, Express
• Experience with both consuming and designing RESTful APIs 
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Good understanding of SQL / No SQL databases and writing complex queries
• Experience in building / deploying the applications to Cloud Platforms / Kubernetes 
• Able to complete projects with minimal supervision and direction
• A desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment
• Great teammate with a positive attitude, strong sense of empathy with the ability to make high quality decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment
• Experience working with and managing offshore and onshore teams on multiple projects/tasks as needed

• 5+ years of supporting highly available critical applications
• Ability to take a project from the requirements phase through the launch of the project
• Knowledge & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding best practices, code reviews, SCM, build processes, testing, operations and support
• Strong teamwork desire and time management skills
• Excellent analytical skills, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze someone else’s code and assume ownership
• Source control management such as Git, SVN
• Understand CI/CD practices
