Java Developer

As a Java Developer, you will be joining our Risk, Finance, and Treasury (RFT) IT team. This role is responsible for java development related to business onboarding platforms, which includes preparing UNIX scripts and database scripts, working with QA teams, joining UAT calls, and negotiating scope of change requests.

What will you be doing?

• Analyzing and developing java work related to onboarding application
• Preparing UNIX and database scripts as required
• Participating in various calls with multiple teams across the globe
• Working with QA teams to facilitate sign offs
• Analyzing requirements – providing innovative and correct solutions
• Providing technology leadership for concurrent streams within the platform

What we’re looking for:

• Able to analyze requirements, provide estimates, develop performant java code in time
• Able to understand / write SQL and PL/SQL code
• Expert in Core Java, understanding of multi-threading and messaging
• Versed with Spring/hibernate/coherence or equivalent stack

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Good understanding of investment banking, and the industry sector
• Good understanding of front to back finance and operational process flows
• Understanding of Agile SDLC concepts; Understanding of Scrum/Kanban Agile SDLC methodology
