Job Description :

Responsiblties:

  • Develop custom-coded vanilla/plain JavaScript Appian UI components.
  • Leverage 3rd party JavaScript libraries to enhance custom-coded JS Appian UI components.
  • Provide guidance to Business Analysts regarding the implementation complexity of their designs to aid the customer in deciding which approach to pursue from a cost/benefit perspective.
  • Demonstrate periodically to the team during Daily Stand-Ups features as you complete them.
  • Participate in all Agile-based ceremonies, to include assisting the team with story estimation.
  • Execute unit tests and integration tests against your changes.
  • Assist other JavaScript developers with their tasks from a peer programming perspective, including reviewing their code and implementation approach.
  • Use processes and tools that support the DevSecOps pipeline, including JIRA, Git, Jenkins, and Fortify.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in core JavaScript. 
  • Knowledge of front-end development. 
  • Experience with popular front-end frameworks and libraries. 
  • Familiarity with server-side programming. 
  • Knowledge of software development best practices.
