Job Description :

Responsibilities:

  • Work with various departments in the company to identify their functional needs and provide solutions.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise with the our internal reporting, ERP system and website and provide timely solutions.
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments in WordPress, Google Sheets, Smart Sheets and Excel, and or other technology and recommend improvements to the company's processes.
  • Manage backups of the website and spreadsheets to ensure data is secure.
  • Training and encouraging staff to maintain complete databases that can be used for subsequent analysis.
  • Gathering and collating raw data from pertinent individuals in each department to facilitate its interpretation.
  • Checking and cleaning data, taking special care to replace erroneous values with correct figures.
  • Analyzing data, with due consideration for the influence of missing information, outliers, plus confounding and extraneous variables.
  • Reporting on insights obtained, which might be utilized to inform business strategies.
  • Creating and updating data sets that evolve in tandem with our business's needs.

Requirements:

  • Must be familiar with excel, google sheets and smart sheets (able to build pivot tables, use vlookup function and other google functions for scorecarding and dashboard building.
  • Degree in business, management information systems, or related field.
  • Knowledge of suitable data analytic processes.
  • Proven experience creating data-driven knowledge that promotes profitability.
  • Capacity to train staff in foundational data entry techniques.
  • Ability to create, update, and share databases.
  • Critical Thinking & Analytical skills are a must.
  • Attentive and considerate team player.

Key Skills:

  • Strong math skills, databases, SQL.
  • Python, and Excel, and excellent critical thinking.
  • Communication, and data visualization skills.
