Job Description : Job Title: Java/ Process Control Engineer  Location: SFO,CA Job Type: Long term contract basis Year of experience: 2-3 years     Job Description: • We currently have an opening for a Process Control / Software Engineer in the Process Control Division, located at the Great Lakes Works operation in SFO,CA. • As an integral part of this highly skilled, innovative team, you will play a significant role in providing critical services to our production operations. • The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of a new Energy application as part of an overall Energy project. • We are seeking a bright, innovative leader with the technical skills, energy, and ambition to help shape the future for Great Lakes Works Process Control. • The ideal candidate is resourceful, motivated, and team oriented. If you are driven to succeed and enjoy the rewards of challenging, fast paced work, we want you on our team! • Participate in, and / or lead high impact process control projects (Energy) that result in improvements to safety, quality, production yield and / or financial benefits. • Work closely with the operations teams to understand requirements and identify improvement opportunities; translate into project or minor enhancement specifications, complete with work estimates and forecasted benefits. • Screen design, report development / maintenance, web page development. • Support production servers, applications, SCADA, and server network communications. • Support the critical steel making operations at Great Lakes Works by ensuring that process control systems are highly available and error resistant  Share resumes at mark at radcomsoftwareservices dot com
