Junior SQL Developer

Job Description :Junior SQL Developer   A highly successful utility company is seeking a talented Junior SQL Developer (1-3 years) to join their team. This is a contract & Full Time position.    Candidates requiring visa sponsorship will be considered for this position. This role is located in Piscataway, NJ  Responsibilities include:  Analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation phases for new development projects, application software changes, and version upgrades   Providing production system support services including investigation of processing errors and system problems  Ensure adherence to department standards, methods and policies   Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical staff and convey complex ideas both verbally and in written form  Maintains programming skills and current knowledge of application development technology as related to specific technical project assignments  Requirements:    1-3 years’ experience as a SQL Developer 1- 3 years of Integration, Reporting and Analysis Services experience (SSIS, SSRS & SSAS) SQL Performance Tuning, Database Design, SSIS/SSRS maintenance and development Providing feedback and suggestions for data quality and process improvements ETL and data migration activities experience.  Experience with Stored Procedure.  An understanding of Systems Integration concepts and experience utilizing them  Motivated self-starter with creative thinking and problem-solving skills  An advanced understanding of computer concepts  Proficiency in relationship database concepts and query applications coding  Heavy utilization of MS SQL (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SSMS)  Excellent verbal and written communication  Ability to work equally independently and/or as part of a team, managing multiple tasks, following direction for often changing priorities in a fast paced environment . Good Analytical Skills (Problem Solving) Excellent Organizational Skills
