Euro School of Tennis looking for creative, energetic, and driven interns who love sports and are comfortable working with children. The student interns will work alongside our Lead Coach in our after-school tennis or group tennis clinics. The position will teach valuable life skills such as patience, stamina, and perseverance. The position is paid and a college internship requirement is preferred.

The candidates with OPT/CPT requirements will be given preference

Sports Intern Responsibilities:

  • Lead groups of ages 5 – 10 in after-school programs and ages 3 and up for group clinics.
  • Assist the lead coach in teaching and overall management of the tennis program.
  • Take attendance and sign in and sign out students for class.
  • Set up the tennis equipment.

Requirements:

  • Must enjoy working with kids and managing a class in a professional manner.
  • Must be flexible, reliable, punctual, professional, and has an enthusiastic approach.
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must carry a resilient, positive attitude.
  • Must be able to work independently and within a small team.
  • Must have its own reliable transportation throughout the East and South Bay and Peninsula.

Locations:

- We provide services in multiple areas throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. We make every effort to only assign schools that are within what you determine to be a reasonable commuting distance.

- Currently, programs are located in the entire Bay Area

- Candidates must be readily available and living in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Schedule:

- Classes are 1 to 1.5 hours in length.

- Start times for classes can vary anywhere between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. for after-school programs and anytime between 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. for group clinics.

- Flexible schedule, work two or more days per week.
