Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related work experience. Experience: Minimum of 4 years’ experience with RedHat linux RedHat Satellite – implementation/configuration Solaris to Linux project ship and shore Back to Sail projects, building servers, automation Ansible/AWX implementation Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Expert level configuration and support experience with RedHat Linux 7/8 Must have broad experience with RedHat Satellite, upgrades, configuration, licensing Experience with AWX, or RedHat Ansible Strong shell or programming experience, Python, Ruby, Puppet Should be familiar with Infrastructure as code concepts and implementations Unix Security Framework knowledge (PAM, KDC/LDAP, SSH key management, etc) Experience with operating system performance monitoring and tuning. Must be able to lead projects with little to no oversight. Clear communicator, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills. Experience supporting database server environments ( MySQL, Oracle, Oracle ASM) Good understanding of network communication protocols. SAN storage experience is a plus Experience with VMware, Vrealize Operations Physical Demands: Work is primarily sedentary where sitting is required most of the time; walking and standing are required occasionally.
