Job Description :Eagle Harbor Solutions (EHS) is looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to perform the duties of a Mobile App Developer. The position will be located in Washington DC supporting EHS and our government customer. The Mobile App Developer will be primarily responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of mobile applications in a service provider environment. The Mobile App Developer will require knowledge and experience in design and delivery of cross platform mobile applications using web, hybrid and native approaches and frameworks. The Mobile App Developer’s duties will include: Requirements gathering and user story development; Preparation of mobile app mockups and prototypes; Development of custom mobile app code; Design and development of web services and APIs; Mobile app integration with web services and APIs; Implementation of automated unit tests; Integration with Mobile Device Management platforms; and Gathering user feedback and incremental application improvements. Required Skills: Mid-Level: Minimum 3+ years of specialized experience with a BA/BS; Alternatively, 1 to 2 years specialized experience with a Master’s Senior-Level: Minimum 5+ years of specialized experience with a BA/BS; Alternatively 3 to 5 years of specialized experience with a Master’s or above Must be available during government closures and on weekends for special projects on an as needed basis Must be available to take part in out of hours on call rotation. Additional requirements for all levels: Experience must include mobile application development; Experience must include native Apple iOS application development experience; Experience must include Objective-C, Swift, and the iOS App SDK for mobile app development; Experience must include the development of automated unit test using XCTest or another testing framework; Experience must include knowledge of the Apple Human Interface Guidelines and iOS UI/UX best practices; Experience must include the ability to build “universal” iOS apps that run on both iPhone and iPad platforms; Knowledge to build mobile applications for Android platform as well as Microsoft Windows Tablets (Microsoft Surfaces / Enterprise Manage Devices) Experience must include development RESTful web services using .NET or another web- based development platform; Experience must include integration of RESTful web services within native iOS application code; Experience must include demonstrated experience with multi-threaded programming principals to support asynchronous web services and other tasks; Experience must include experience with PhoneGap/Cordova on iOS and custom PhoneGap plugin development; Experience must include responsive web design using Bootstrap or another responsive design framework; and Understanding of Agile methodologies and desire to work in agile shop. Working Environment & Conditions This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The work load may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
