Model 204 Programmer

• Assists in requirements gathering activities as it related to Automate The Schools (ATS) functions.
• Analyzes requirements and proposes file and screen usage designs.
• Utilizing in-depth knowledge of the M204 coding language, develops software to meet business owner requirements.
• Creates meaningful test data, engages in unit testing, error corrections, and quality control activities.
• Evaluates system performance. Recommends efficiency improvements.
• Assists in the transfer of knowledge of business programming and business logic to other non-M204 development teams.
• Plays a critical role in data exchanges between systems including the utilization of message broker technologies.

Project Specific Technical Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in the following:
• Programming in TSO and RACF
• Technical experience in Model 204 development
• Experience in systems analysis 2+ years of experience in the following:
• Troubleshooting and resolving user issues 1+ year of experience in the following:
• Knowledge of Janus, Janus Soap and or Json.
