Network Engineer / Network Architect

What you will be doing:

• Work on interesting and challenging network related projects supporting:
  • Submarine combat system network architecture and design including support for Cloud based technologies
  • Test and evaluation of new network equipment for submarine technology insertions
  • Cyber hardening of existing and future submarine combat system networks
• Using analytical and problem-solving skills to assist in the requirements, design, development, and test of complex lab and submarine networks
• Supporting network upgrades and troubleshooting in lab and afloat submarine environments

Required Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance*
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical degree
• 3 years of experience in network engineering activities

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working on BYG-1 submarine combat system
• Networking and/or cyber certifications

• Obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance involves a comprehensive background check. Candidates are eligible for a clearance if they have demonstrated sound financial management (including good credit) over time, are free of criminal records, have limited foreign contacts or ties, and other factors indicative of a position of trust to protect information sensitive to the U.S. Government.
