Responsibilities:

Network Security Engineer will design, configure, and maintain Cisco ASA firewalls (running traditional code) to protect the network from unauthorized access and threats
Configure and manage Cisco switches to enforce security policies and optimize network performance
Provide architectural guidance and recommendations for network security enhancements and improvements
Cisco ISE Integration: Implement and manage Cisco ISE for 802.1x authentication, ensuring secure access control and identity management across the network
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Configure and integrate Okta for multi-factor authentication (MFA) to enhance access security for network resources and applications
Secure Access Service Edge (SASE): Manage and maintain Zscaler for Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) to provide comprehensive security for remote users and branch offices
Incident Response and Troubleshooting: Conduct security assessments, analyze network traffic, and respond to security incidents in a timely manner
Troubleshoot network security issues and implement appropriate solutions to mitigate risks
 Documentation and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation of network security configurations, policies, and procedures
 Ensure compliance with security standards, regulations, and best practices
