Network Specialist

Description: Under general supervision, will assist in managing the computer systems, telephone system, internet systems and software applications used by the cooperative and its members. Execute the duties required to plan, build, and maintain computer communications and interconnection systems. Perform the function of helping and supporting the company and member’s computer systems and users. Comply with safe operating procedures and established regulations and standards.

Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining the mainframe and personal computer network system. Assist the members with questions and assist FTs with networking aspects. Assist the System Administrators with microcomputer and network maintenance and software applications and provide backup on the computer system as requested. Maintain and develop necessary applications such as VPN software, Dynamic Scheduling, etc... Assists with telephone, network, and communication equipment troubleshooting. Analyze requests for data processing needs, recommend solutions and develop or implement the needed software or programs.

Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSE)
• Microsoft Windows PC OS (MCDST, MCP)
• A+ hardware certification
• N+ network certification
